(West Harrison, Ind.) - This week, Troopers from the Indiana State Police-Versailles Post and the Indiana State Police-Commercial Motor Vehicle Division conducted a targeted enforcement patrol of commercial motor vehicles.
The enforcement patrol took place along Interstate 74 at the West Harrison Weigh Station.
According to Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, Operation Guardrail resulted in seven arrests.
The operation also included seven citations, 43 warnings issued, 94 inspections, eight out of service violations and three police services.
The aim of Operation Guardrail was to make roads safer for motorists.
