Ivy Tech Community College of Madison is pleased to announce that Raven Hudson has been hired as its Director of Student Success. Hudson joined Ivy Tech on February 14 after working as a case manager at RE-Group.

As the Director of Student Success, Hudson will focus on the student experience by guiding Student Life activities, coordinating IvyCares support services and organizing New Student Orientation efforts. She will collaborate with various departments to enhance student learning inside and outside the classroom and will support students to persist and complete their certificates or degrees.

“We’re excited to add Raven as a member of the team here at Ivy Tech Madison. The Director of Student Success role will be an important component to helping our students become engaged members of the campus community and reach their academic and career goals,” says Dustin Stewart, Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services and Student Success. “Raven’s focus on assisting our students in overcoming barriers and persisting to completion of their degree or certificate will have a positive impact on our campus and in our community.”

A Trimble County, Ky. native, Hudson is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she served as an undergraduate research assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in counseling. Hudson is also recognized as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

“I am excited to join the team at Ivy Tech Madison to continue improving student success within the college. Students have so many great resources already available to them through Ivy Tech, including the resources within the community,” says Hudson. “I look forward to creating more resources, along with coordinating student life activities and assisting in academic success to continue creating a positive and engaging environment that will allow students to thrive and achieve their goals.”
