Jefferson County Commissioners Proposing A Noise Ordinance For County

Some changes will be made before a second reading

The Jefferson County Commissioners recently held the first reading of a new noise ordinance, The goal of the ordinance is to implement a way to control unwanted and excessive noise, changes will be made before a second reading because Jefferson County Sheriff Ben Flint has requested “a few things that need to be tweaked.the noise ordinance isn’t being proposed to “hamper anybody” but rather help property owners to be good neighbors.Final voting for this will be Aug 10th, 5pm
