(Jennings County, Ind.) - A Jennings County man was arrested yesterday, April 12, after holding three teenagers at gunpoint in a Country Squire Lakes residence.
Yesterday afternoon, Jennings County Deputies took a report from three teenagers stating that a neighbor had forced his way into the residence, where he then held them at gunpoint.
The man threatened the teenagers before finally leaving the residence.
Jennings County Deputies later took Alphonso E. Barnett, 50, of North Vernon into custody without incident.
He is now being housed at the Jennings County Jail on the charges of Burglary Armed with a Deadly Weapon (Level 2 Felony), Criminal Confinement Armed with a Deadly Weapon (Level 3 Felony), Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon (Level 5 Felony), and Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon (Level 6 Felony).
