Ongoing Investigation

*UPDATE*
CAMPBELLSBURG,KY (03/06/2024)- On Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 5:56 am Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call in reference to an unresponsive male on Cardinal Drive in Campbellsburg. The Trimble County Sheriff, Kentucky State Police Post 5 Troopers, Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County EMS and the Henry County Coroner responded to the scene. A male, identified as 53 year old Lorenzo Hicks, was pronounced deceased by the Henry County Coroner.
The preliminary investigation indicated there had been foul play at the residence. Kentucky State Police Post 5 detectives and Kentucky State Police CIRT team were also contacted to respond to the scene. The deceased was transported to the state medical examiner's office. Next of kin has been notified.
Kentucky State Police continued the investigation through out the day and into the night which ultimately resulted in Cleveland Riley, 43 year old male, being arrested and charged with Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Cleveland Riley was lodged at the Oldham County Jail.
This continues to be an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Kentucky State Police.
CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (03/05/2024) – On Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 5:56 am Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call in reference to an unresponsive male subject at a residence in Campbellsburg. The Kentucky State Police, Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County EMS, and the Henry County Coroner responded to the scene. The Henry County Coroner pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time Kentucky State Police Post 5 is still on scene as this is an ongoing investigation.
