(Frankfort, Ky.) – Those Kentuckians who are wanting to vote in the upcoming elections but have not yet registered to vote are needing to act fast.

Kentuckians who have not yet registered to vote can do so by 4:00 p.m. tonight May 26.

The Kentucky primary will be held on June 23, and while the country is fighting the coronavirus, those who would like to vote absentee can request a ballot by June 15.

Gov. Andy Beshear and Secretary of State Michael Adams announced Friday that the online portal to register for an absentee ballot is now open.

By law, voters can choose to vote in one of four ways: voting-in person, voting ahead of time at county clerk’s office, filling out an absentee ballot online, and requesting a ballot by mail and returning it to the clerk’s office.
