(Sellersburg, Ind.) - A Madison man is facing several felonies after he was stopped for not wearing a seat belt late Monday night.
According to the Indiana State Police in Sellersburg, a trooper was patrolling Interstate 65 near the Sellersburg exit when he noticed the man not wearing his seat belt and initiated a traffic stop. Police stated that 38-year-old Bradley Randall did not immediately pull over but continued driving for about two miles before stopping.
Randall then lied about his identity, it was later discovered by the police that he was listed as a lifetime habitual offender. He was also wanted on a warrant out of Jefferson County.
During a search of his vehicle police found approximately three and a half ounces of suspected methamphetamine.
He is currently being held in the Clark County jail on the following charges, Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felony), Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felony), HTV (Lifetime) with prior arrest (Level 5 Felony), False Informing (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Warrant) (Level 3 Felony).
