(Switzerland County, Ind.) - A confirmed case of measles has been reported, according to the Switzerland County Health Department

Measles is highly contagious and spreads through the air. Symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and rashes. 

If you think you have been exposed, check your Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccination status and watch for symptoms for 21 days. If symptoms appear, call your healthcare provider before visiting, and stay home to prevent spread.
