(Madison, Ind.) – National Drug Take-Back Day is coming up.
On Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. the DEA will be hosting a National Drug Take-Back Day.
According to a 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 9.9 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs. This study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from home medicine cabinets of family and friends.
During the time slot listed above, those who have unwanted or expired medications can drop them off at any Indiana State Police Post.
