One Killed in Jennings County House Fire

The incident took place on Sunday.

(Jennings County, Ind.) - Multiple agencies responded to a structure fire on Sunday in the area of Honeylocust Place in Country Squire Lakes. 

Upon arrival, firefighters found the home fully engulfed. 

One male was located deceased inside of the residence. The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time. 

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security Fire Marshal's division has been contacted to assist with the ongoing investigation. 

Agencies responding the fire were: Scipio-Geneva Township Fire, North Vernon Fire, Lovett Township Fire, Campbell Township Fire, Spencer Township Fire, Verton Township Fire, Jennings County EMS, Jennings County Central Dispatch, Jennings County Sheriff's Office and American Red Cross.
