Perfect to chair Senate Committee on Commerce and Technology

The General Assembly is set to reconvene Jan 9th

                                      

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 8, 2022) – State Sen. Chip Perfect (R-Lawrenceburg) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Commerce and Technology for the 123rd Indiana General Assembly.

Perfect will also serve on the following Senate committees:

“I am pleased to continue serving as chair of the Senate Committee on Commerce and Technology during the legislative session," Perfect said. "I understand how important it is to support Indiana businesses so we can continue to strengthen our state's economy, which is why I look forward to working with the public and my colleagues by reviewing legislation and addressing the concerns of Hoosiers in our committee."

The 2023 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 22. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 9.
