Possession of Drugs and Other Charges

Scott County-On June 15, 2021, Deputy Chris Bowling, Corporal James Ward and Deputy James Campbell responded to a disturbance in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Cory Christensen, 36, of Scottsburg for Domestic Battery.

On June 16, 2021, Corporal Charlie Morgan and Deputy Eric Balingit responded to an unknown problem in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges. 

Corey Smith, 27, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with a Prior, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia. 

Ashley Hahn, 31, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with a Prior, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
