Busy week for Deputies

Scott County-On July 27, 2021, Deputies Zach Brown and Eric Balingit responded to a disturbance in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Amanda Jones, 38, of Brownstown, IN, for Theft Less Than $750, Unauthorized Entry of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Trespass.

On July 28, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to an address in Austin in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Richard Hickman, 54, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Invasion of Privacy.

On July 28, 2021, Deputy Kacey Reschar and Corporal Johnney Coomer went to an address in Austin in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Brandon Stidham, 29, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear.

On July 29, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to an address in rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Charlie Eversole, 28, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Comply.

On July 29, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Jose Gasca, 24 of Fort Worth, TX, for Operator Never Licensed, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On July 29, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman served an outstanding arrest warrant at the Scott County Jail.  Brandy Neace, 38, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape, Flees From Lawful Detention and Failure to Comply.

On July 29, 2021, Deputy Kacey Reschar and Corporal Johnney Coomer conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Larry Dunn, 48, of Jeffersonville, IN, for Possession of Methamphetamine At Least 5 Grams but Less Than 10 Grams, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and an out of county arrest warrant.  Deputy Reschar and Corporal Coomer were assisted by Deputies Skylar Thompson and Jessica Dickey.
