Switzerland County Wins First Girls Golf Sectional in School History

(Madison, Ind.) - History was made on Saturday at Sunrise Golf Course in Madison. 

For the first time in program history, the Switzerland County girls golf team can call themselves Sectional Champions. The Lady Pacers held off Madison to win their first sectional with a team score of 372. Madison finished eight shots back with a 380, followed by Jennings County in third place with a 395. 

All three teams advance to the Regional. 

Switzerland County was led by individual sectional champion Alexis Mangold. She carded an 86. Paige Gregory finished fourth overall with a 93, and Brinley Bear tied for fifth with a 95.
