Ripley County Community Foundation Awards Over $190,000 in Scholarships

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) is thrilled to announce it has awarded a total of $194,155 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors from across Ripley County. These scholarships will support deserving students as they pursue higher education at colleges and universities throughout the country.

“Investing in our future generation is paramount to the success of Ripley County,” said Janice Lamping, Program Coordinator of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “Scholarship opportunities can make a life-changing difference for students facing financial barriers to higher education. By helping them achieve their academic goals, we’re not only empowering individuals, but also enriching the entire community.”

A well-educated population is essential for a thriving rural community. College graduates contribute to a stronger workforce, a more vibrant economy, and a more engaged citizenry. The Ripley County Community Foundation recognizes the critical role scholarships play in enhancing the quality of life in local communities.
