Scott Co. Sheriff Hosting Sheriff's Auction

The auction will be held on May 22.

(Scott County, Ind.) - The Scott County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a sheriff's auction on Saturday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. located at Mid-America Science Park.

The items that will be auctioned off include:

  • Long Guns: New Haven, Westfield, Ruger, Remington, Mossberg, H&R, New England, Marlin, Savage, Magtech, JC Higgins, Charles Daly, Revelations, Glenfield, Riverside, Sears and Roebuck, Stephens, Winchester.
  • Handguns:  Khar, Rossi, LLAMA, Smith & Wesson, Jennings, Hopkins and Allen, Taurus, Sig Sauer, BAIKAI, Kel-Tec, Ruger Super Redhawk, Phoenix Arms, Lorraine, Hi Point, S&W, Titan, H&R, Cobra, Raven, Davis, H. Schmidt, Charter Arms, Beretta. 
  • Misc Items:  Several clips and holsters, jewelry, cross bow, compound bow and ammunition of various calibers. Other items such as tools, video games, manual tire changer, chainsaws, weedeater, Fender Stratocaster guitar, push mower, and more.

Those who purchase long guns, or handguns will be subject to background checks. The only forms of payment accepted will be cash or a good check with a photo ID. Debit and Credit cards will not be accepted.
