Switzerland Co. Deputies Discover Human Remains

While conducting missing person investigation

Switzerland Co. Sheriff’s Deputies are working to identify human remains that were discovered on Monday during a missing person investigation.

The remains were found in a wooded area of a vacant residence on the 13000 block of Beatty Ridge Road.

It is not certain if the remains are associated with the missing person.

Deputies are working to not only ID the remains but determine the cause of death which will take several weeks.

Anyone with information concerning the case contact the Switzerland Co. Sheriff's Department or Indiana State Police.
