(Vevay, Ind.) - Switzerland County High School senior Alexis Mangold has made her college decision.
This week, the Pacers golf star signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at IU Southeast.
Mangold will leave Switzerland County High School in the spring as one of the top golfers in program history. She is a four-time All-ORVC selection, four-time team ORVC champion, four-time regional qualifier, and a two-time individual ORVC champion.
This year, Mangold captured her first individual sectional championship and helped led the Lady Pacers to their first sectional title in program history.
In September, Mangold set a new Switzerland County girls' golf individual record, carding a 35 (-1) at Sportsmen's Golf Course.
"Your hard work, dedication, and leadership have set the bar high. We are so proud of you, Alexis, and can’t wait to watch you shine at the next level with the Grenadiers!" reads a statement from Switzerland County Pacers Athletics.
