Crews are working on a pavement repair project

(Carroll County, Ky.) - Beginning today, crews will perform a pavement repair near Exit 44 (KY 227) to Carrollton and Worthville.
During the work, a right lane closure will be in place on Interstate 71 southbound from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5:00 p.m. each day.
Traffic entering Interstate 71 southbound from Exit 44 (KY 227) may also experience delays while crews complete the pavement work.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to consider alternate routes, if possible.
Weather permitting, this maintenance work is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
