Tri-State Wrestling presents GOLD RUSH on Saturday, October 15

Featuring semifinals and finals to crown first-ever TSW Heavyweight Champion

(September 22, 2022) — Fans will see a champion crowned at the Tyson Activity Center on Saturday, October 15 with Tri-State Wrestling presents GOLD RUSH.

GOLD RUSH will feature the semifinals and finals of the tournament to determine the first-ever TriState Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Semifinal matches will pit former Ring of Honor Heavyweight Champion Dalton Castle against “The One Man Boyband” Eric James, while the NWA’s VsK will face rising star Tre’ Lamar. The winners of those matches will compete in the finals later that night to decide the inaugural title holder.

Also highlighting the GOLD RUSH card is an appearance by former World Wrestling Federation (WWF) tag team champions, The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher). Fans can purchase meet and greet opportunities with the tag team duo that include an autographed 8x10 and photo op.

Additionally, hometown wrestler Gaston LaRue will make his return to the Tyson Activity Center after competing on Tri-State Wrestling’s ORIGINS show in August.

LaRue is a Versailles native and graduate of South Ripley High School looking to continue making his mark in the squared circle once again in front of his hometown fans.

Tickets will also be available at the Tyson Activity Center at the door. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m. with matches scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
