Two Arrested At Storage Units On Meth Charges

Investigated a report of suspicious activity

October 19, 2018, @ 2:01AM Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies investigated a report of suspicious activity at the Storage Express Units at 2782 Clifty Drive.  Upon arrival officers located two individuals identified as Michael S. Young 42, Hanover, Indiana and Angela N. Johnson 20, Hanover, Indiana.  As a result of the investigation, deputies conducted a search of storage units that belonged to Mr. Young.  During the search, officers located and seized 18.2 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and United States currency. 

 

Michael S. Young faces preliminary alleged charges of Dealing Methamphetamine Level 2 Felony, maintaining a common nuisance level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia class C misdemeanor.  Angela N Johnson faces preliminary alleged charges of possession of methamphetamine level 6 felony, possession of syringe level 6 felony and possession of paraphernalia class C misdemeanor.  Both young and Johnson were transported to the Jefferson County Jail where they await their initial court appearance on the preliminary alleged charges.  The investigation was led by Deputy Josh Cochran and Deputy C.J. Miller.  Deputy Linton Spry assisted.
