Versailles Woman Rescued After Being Trapped In Septic Tank

(Versailles, Ind.) - Yesterday, Versailles Firefighters were dispatched to Rolling Hills in Versailles on the report of an elderly female trapped in a sewer tank. 

Upon arrival, firefighters found the female trapped over chest-high in a septic tank that had collapsed as she stepped off the steps of her deck at home. 

Firefighters utilized their rescue tripod and rope equipment to extricate the female. 

Fortunately, there were no injuries sustained in the incident.
