Each year, volunteers from six states clean up litter along the shorelines of the Ohio River and many of its tributaries.

People interested in volunteering can visit OhioRiverSweep.org to find a list of more than 100 cleanup locations. Trash bags are provided and each volunteer receives a free T-shirt.
