Hanover Women Do Big In HCAC All-Conference Selections SW, SC & SM ORVC Boys Basketball All-Conference Selections Sectional Semi-Finals Friday

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its all conference selections on Thursday afternoon, with senior Alexis Nall (Mount Vernon, Ind.) garnering her second consecutive HCAC Player of the Year Honors. Also topping the conference was head coach John Jones, who along with his staff, was named HCAC Coach of the Year for leading Hanover to a 17-1 mark in league play and a 19-7 overall record. Earning her second conference selection is former Madison Lady Cub senior Katie Hartman  (Madison, Ind.), who was selected to the HCAC First Team after earning honorable mention for her 2018-19. Landing on the HCAC Second Team is junior Savannah Courtney (Lawrenceburg, Ky.), who is earning her first league selection. Rounding out the selections is former Switzerland Co. Lady Pacer senior Brooke Todd (Vevay, Ind.), who garners her first recognition.

 

 

The Rotary Club of Salem (Va.) announced Hanover women's basketball player senior Alexis Nall (Mount Vernon, Ind.) as a top 10 finalist for the national Jostens Trophy.The Jostens Trophy is awarded annually in March to honor the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outstanding Athletes of the year. Nall becomes the first Hanover women's basketball player to be named as a finalist and the third in Hanover history joining men's basketball players Wes McKinney ('18) and Cam Fails ('19). The 2020 award winners will be announced in mid-March.

95.3 WIKI will carry the Southwestern vs Henryville game starting at 5:45 with Larry & Rob. Rebels defeated the Hornets in the J.C.I.T on December 28th 68-49

Switzerland Co. is currently in a 8 game losing streak and have lost 12 of their last 13 games. This will be the first meeting between the Pacers and Providence.
