Southwestern's Owen Bates Qualifies for the State Finals in High Jump with a jump of 6'2"

Shawe's Emmaline Leatherman competed in three events (100m Hurdles ; Long Jump ; High Jump) at the Girls IHSAA Regional Track meet hosted by Bloomington North High School on Tuesday, 5/25 this week where she placed 10th in the Long Jump, 6th in the 100m Hurdles, and 3rd in the High Jump! It was her 3rd place finish jumping a height of 5'02".00 in the High Jump that earned herself a spot at the IHSAA State Meet hosted by Ben Davis High on June 5th! 

Emmaline will be the first ever female track athlete to advance to State in Shawe Memorial school history!!
