KHSAA 31st DISTRICT BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP:

Henry Co. over Carroll Co. 6-4. Both teams will play in the 8th Region Tournament at Simon Kenton on Saturday

 

KHSAA 31st DISTRICT SOFTBALL:

Carroll Co. advances to the district championship tonight against Henry Co. as they defeat Eminence 9-0

 

IHSAA SOFTBALL SECTIONAL:

Southwestern defeats Austin 6-0. 

Switzerland County over Milan 5-4 in 9 innings. Nora Hankins with the walk-off hit. Lady Rebels and Lady Pacers meet tomorrow night for the sectional championship.


 

Shawe’s Abigail Hill defeats Brown County’s Baelyn Koester 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the next round tomorrow at 5:30 against Austin’s Jalen Coomer

In doubles, Southwestern's Ashlyn Cloud and Chloe Adcock fall 3-6, 1-6

 

IHSAA GIRLS TRACK REGIONAL:

No area athlete's will be advancing to next weeks state finals. Switzerland Co. finished tied for 20th as a team.
