Football Friday Night

High School Girls Basketball:

Southwestern defeats Henryville 61-26. Lady Rebels were led by Elle Foley with 20 and Abby Ralston with 17. Southwestern will take on Austin tomorrow at 10 at Henryville. If the Lady Rebels win, they will play for the Tournament Championship at 7:45.

 

Madison opens their season tomorrow at Charlestown

 

FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT:

 KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl First Round as Carroll Co. hosts Green Co. Our coverage begins at 7:45 with kickoff at 8.

 

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

HCAC Women & Men’s Soccer Championship at Hanover College. Panthers take on Mt. St. Joseph at 11 in the women’s championship while Hanover will take on Transy at 2 for the men’s title.

 

Hanover Football will also host Rose Hulman with kickoff at 2.

    Sentry Services, a program within LifeTime Resources, is excited to be able to offer the Volunteer Advocates for Seniors or Incapacitated Adult program in Jefferson County (VASIA). We are actively seeking local, caring, and compassionate people willing to give their time to help seniors or incapacitated adults have a greater quality of life. There are many different ways to serve as a VASIA volunteer: Visit clients at least once a month Accompany clients to medical appointments Send "thinking of you" cards Assist with applying for and maintaining benefits Support the program and staff by providing clerical support When you volunteer for the VASIA program, you will receive training on the role of an advocate and resources to assist the client as well as continued support and assistance of our processional staff.
