Hanover College win two HCAC Titles over the weekend

Carroll Co. falls in  the first round of the KHSAA 2A Football Playoffs to Owen Co. 39-22

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Southwestern falls in their season opener to Henryville 44-36

 

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9th:

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Football defeats Rose Hulman 42-13 and takes the HCAC Title and a berth in the NCAA DIII National Tournament. Panthers play their final regular season game at home Saturday as they host Franklin College in the Bell Game at 1:30. Hanover will find out who, when and where their first round game will be played on Sunday, November 17 at 5:30pm.

Men' soccer defeats Rose Hulman on penalty kicks in double overtime 4-2 to win the HCAC Title and a berth in the NCAA DIII National Tournament. Panthers will find out who, when and where they play Monday afternoon at 1:30.

Women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to Rose-Hulman in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Finals 

Volleyball falls in the HCAC semi-finals to Earlham 3-2

Men's swimming opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action falling to Franklin 214-46.

Women's swimming opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action falling to Franklin 201-45.

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Southwestern picks up their first win of the season defeating Crothersville 65-47.Ashton Goode with 19, Ellie Foley with 20 for the Lady Rebels.

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:

Carroll Co. picks up a 56-55 win over Shawnee at the Butler Bear Down Preseason Jamboree. Panthers were lead by Senior Wyatt Supplee with 36 points and Sophomore Jaxon Hewitt with 11 points
