Former Madison golfer inducted into Hall of Fame

The UofL baseball team is in Omaha for the College World Series.  The Cardinals will play their first game of the CWS against Vanderbilt on Sunday afternoon.  The Cards are making their fourth appearance in Omaha in the last seven seasons.

Former Madison High School golfer, Michael Kemper, a three-time sectional champion, two-time regional champ, 1990 state runner-up and 1991 state champion, will be inducted into the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame at a ceremony tonight in Indianapolis.

Kentucky men's basketball head coach John Calipari is set to continue to serve at the university until his retirement.  The university announced the terms yesterday of a long-term deal with Calipari.
