Jefferson Co. golfers claim 4 of top 5 spots
Madison Cubs win their 8th Boys Sectional Golf Title in a row, shooting a 319 to advance to the IHSAA Regional.

Southwestern finishes 2nd at 327 and Jennings Co. 3rd at 335 also advance to the regional.

Bryce Kircher of Jennings Co. was sectional champion with a 71 one stroke better than Southwetern’s Hunter Mefford in 2nd with a 72. Madison’s top golfer was Drew Barron with a 74 in 3rd.
IHSAA Madison Boys Golf Sectional Results
Luke Ommen of Madison tied for 4th with Trenton Hadley of Southwestern at 75. Shawe’s top golfer was Chandler Cole with 85 and Switzerland County’s was Garrett Demaree at 86.
Southwestern's 327 is a new school record for 18 holes.
Regional will be Thursday at Champions Pointe Golf Course in Henryville.
