Trimble Co. falls 2-1 to Macon County (Lafayette), TN at Henry Co. Tournament

Volleyball defeats Wooster 3-1 at the Heidelberg Invitational

 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd:

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Football defeats Bluffton 28-10

Volleyball falls to Case Western and Heidelburg 3-1 at the Heidelberg Invitational

Women's Soccer defeat Capital 2-0

 

IHSAA GIRLS GOLF REGIONAL:

Madison shots a 418 to finish 15 and Southwestern a 421 to finish 17. Shawe's Katie Hertz shot a 99. Keara Eder shot a 88 to lead the Lady Cubs and Belle Crawford a 101 for the Lady Rebels.

 

HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY:

Duke Meyer Invitational at Hanover College: Jennings Co. wins both the boys and girls events. Southwestern 5th and Madison 11th in the boys. Switzerland Co. 3rd, Madison 4th and Southwestern 6th in the girls.

 

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL:

1st annual Marc Baum Memorial Volleyball Tournament at Southwestern: Rock Creek won the championship with Southwestern 2nd and Shawe 6th.

Madison defeats Bedford North Lawrence 3-0

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS SOCCER:

Madison and Bedford North Lawrence tie 1-1

Carroll Co. defeats Whitefield Academy 4-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER:

Battle of the River at Switzerland Co.: Switzerland Co. defeated both Gallatin Co. and Carroll Co. for the championship. Carroll Co. defeated Gallatin Co.

Warriorette Cup at Scottsburg: Southwestern lost to Salem 3-2 and Scottsburg 3-0

Madison over Bedford North Lawrence 2-1
