Absentee Ballot, Early Voting Information For Upcoming Nov. 3 Elections

If you are currently not registered to vote you have until October 5, 2020, to register.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – We are still over a month out from the November 3 election, but it is not to early to request an absentee ballot or find where you are to vote.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many may choose to vote absentee in this election, much like the primary election. If you would like to vote absentee you can apply for a ballot now at the Jefferson County Courthouse, or on IndianaVoters.com.

If you are to apply for an absentee ballot, the application must be turned in at the courthouse by October 22, even if mailed in.

Once ballots are received, they must be turned in no later than noon on November 3, 2020.

If you would like to vote in person, the locations are as follows:

EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS:

Jefferson County EMA building:

  • 620 Green Road, Madison, IN 47250
    • October 15- 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 20 - 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 22- 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 27 - 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 29- 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Hanover Park Building:

  • 200 Spruce Lane, Hanover, IN 47243
    • October 14 - 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 21 - 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • October 28 - 11:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Jefferson County Courthouse

  • 300 E Main Street, Madison, IN 47250
    • Tuesday, October 6 through Friday, October 30 – 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 24 through Saturday, October 31 – 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
    • Monday, November 2 – 9:00 a.m. until noon
