(Madison, Ind.) - Due to a water main break on Tuesday, August 11 on Michigan Road. The City of Madison Water Department has issued a boil water advisory for the following areas for at least 24 hours.
The areas affected are Michigan Road from Hutchinson Lane including Madison Moblie Home Village.
Those who experience low to no water pressure are advised to boil water intended for consumption over the next 24 hours. All water intended for consumption must be boiled for 3 to 5 minutes.
For dishwashing in private residences, a few drops of bleach per gallon of water will also provide adequate disinfection.
