The City of Madison Water Department has scheduled hydrant flushing for downtown Madison.
The hydrants will be flushed starting Monday, September 24th through Thursday, September 27th beginning at 7:30 AM daily.
In case of inclement weather or water emergencies, these dates and times may be changed. Any changes in the schedule will be publicly announced.
If residents experience dirty water after the hydrants are flushed, they should run cold water only until water runs clear.
The Water and Sewer Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers.
