(Carrollton, KY.) - With Easter Sunday coming up Caroll County is still planning to have their events but will be doing them according to federal guidelines due to the coronavirus.

On April, 11 Easter on the square will be done in a drive-through style. Those who would like to attend this event will remain in their cars and enter on 5th street off of Highland Avenue.

The police department will be there monitoring the situation and guiding residents through the process.

Once in the line, Carrollton Main Street employees will be handing out bags of candy with long reach grabbers to residents. The Easter bunny will also be in attendance to wave to families, but there will not be any opportunities to get out of your vehicle to take pictures.

All in attendance must stay in their vehicles at all times.

Carrollton Main Street employees would like residents to know that all goodie bags are being stuffed with CDC, federal, and state precautions in mind.

Updates will be provided on Carrollton Main Streets Facebook page.
