Flood Advisory Issued Until 2:00 p.m.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a flood advisory for Northwestern Jefferson County in south-central Indiana.

This flood advisory is until 2:00 p.m. today, some locations that will experience flooding include:

  • Deputy
  • Five Points
  • Hanover
  • Kent
  • Middlefork
  • Smyrna
  • Swanville
  • Volga
  • Wakefield
  • Wirt

It is advised to turn around, and don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
