ISDH Update Statewide COVID-19 Case Counts

A total of 2,811 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of six over the previous day.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) today announced that an additional 1,051 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories.

This brings the total to 71,015 Hoosiers known to have the coronavirus.

Case counts by county are as follows:

  • Jefferson County, 153 cases
  • Scott County, 257 cases
  • Jennings County, 215 cases
  • Ripley County, 194 cases
  • Switzerland County, 44 cases

A total of 2,811 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of six over the previous day.

The City of Madison is offering free COVID-19 diagnostic testing at the Senior Center located at 208 West Main Street.

Residents can be tested without experiencing symptoms, appointments, or insurance. The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., until mid-August.
