INDIANAPOLIS - Winning a race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway has a way of making your famous.
On Saturday, Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, who serves the Versailles Post, met this year's winner of the Indianapolis 500, Felix Rosenqvist.
Rosenqvist was back at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to watch qualifying for the Brickyard 400.
Sgt. Wheeles interviewed Rosenqvist about life after winning the Indy 500 and his partnership with Indiana State Police.
Earlier this year, ISP announced the partnership, which continues a forward-thinking recruitment and public engagement initiative designed to connect with the next generation of State Troopers, Capitol Police Officers, and professional staff members.
