One dead and four seriously injured following two vehicle collision in Trimble County

MILTON, Ky (June 16, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 5 Campbellsburg responded to a two-vehicle collision in Trimble County on US-421, resulting in a single fatality around 9:46 AM this morning.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a red 2012 Volvo S60 driven by 29 yo Mary May of Jeffersonville, IN, crossed left of center and struck a black 1987 Ford Ranger driven by 39 yo David Logan of Lawrenceburg, IN. Mary May was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment. Three juveniles passengers in the red 2012 Volvo were flown to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville for serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
David Logan was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Trimble County Coroner, and next of kin has been notified.
This collision remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by Trooper Jordan Votaw.
