Programs are for all school-aged kids

With the closure of schools as a response to COVID-19, schools in both Indiana and Kentucky are making sure that the students are still receiving proper meals during the closure.

Madison Consolidated Schools are asking that you reserve meals through the ThoughtExchange as this is an easier wat to ensure students have meals.

TO do this are to complete this survey, and if you have not signed up for meal pick up you can use the Meal Reservation Google Form, or call the main office of your child's school to make reservations.

If you are interested in ordering breakfast and lunch for you Pope John or Shawe students, you are asked to contact the school at 812-273-3957 and press ‘0’ by Tuesday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m.

Pick up of three days’ worth of meals will take place Wednesday, March 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the back kitchen door at Pope John, payment options would be the same as when students eat school.

Jennings County Schools will be providing five free breakfasts and five free lunches on Thursdays during the e-Learning weeks, March 19 and April 2, from 11:00-1:00 at each school and from 5:00-6:00 at JCHS for students under 18. Parents or guardians can pick up meals in drive-throughs. It is our goal to help keep our community safe.

Scott County District 2 will be providing grab and go breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and lunches from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at all of the schools.

Trimble County Schools will provide an opportunity for families to drive through and pick up meals for the children in their household at either Trimble Co. Jr/Sr. High or Milton Elementary School. We will provide Lunch for that day and Breakfast for the following day. Meals will be available for pickup between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The school does ask you to stay inside your car and meals will be delivered to your vehicle, and they will ask the number of children in your family when providing meals.

Pick up sites:
• Trimble County Jr/Sr. High for all Bedford area students- drive around to the back of the building for pick up.
• Milton Elementary for all Milton area students- pull in the student drop off area of the school.

Families that do not have transportation and are unable to access one of the pick-up sites may call 502-255-3201 to request delivery. Please provide the following information: your name, address, how many children are in the home, and we can arrange to deliver meals to you starting at 12:00 p.m.

For precautionary reasons, meals cannot be consumed on-site. We encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by NOT congregating at the school site once meals have been distributed, continue to wash your hands often, sneeze or cough into a tissue and stay home if you are sick.

Carroll County Schools will provide pickup meals for students each school day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the main entrance of Carroll County High School.

Meals can be picked up by driving to the front entrance of CCHS. A staff member will deliver the food to the car, and a packaged breakfast will be included. Students will not be allowed to eat at school. These meals are optional and are available for all of our students.
