MADISON POLICE ARREST THREE ON DRUG CHARGES AFTER SUBJECT OVERDOSES

ALL THREE WERE ARRESTED ON SAME CHARGES

                                           

On January 12th, 2024, the Madison Police Department responded to a call of a subject who had overdosed in the 500 block of Walnut Street.

During the course of the investigation, which was led by Sr. Ptl. Trent Smith, it was determined that a male subject had overdosed and needed immediate medical attention. This subject was transported to Norton King’s Daughters’ Health for treatment. A search warrant for the residence was obtained and three individuals were subsequently arrested on drug related charges.

Joanna Blevins 40 y/o Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6 Felony

Dwayne Brown 33 y/o Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6 Felony

All three individuals have a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law.
