OPERATION CLOCKED OUT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO 29 DRUG RELATED ARRESTS

Jefferson County, Indiana (April 16, 2026) – A months-long investigation has led to 29 drug related arrests involving a distribution network of methamphetamine, cocaine, hydrocodone, and alprazolam pills. The Indiana State Police (ISP) led the Investigation, titled “Operation Clocked Out”.

“This operation reflects the culmination of extensive investigative work led by the Indiana State Police, strengthened through close coordination with multiple law enforcement agencies, whose combined efforts work to hold offenders accountable and enhance public safety.” said Prosecutor David Sutter.

Sutter also expressed appreciation for the support provided by the City of Madison Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office during the execution of the warrants. “Their assistance was instrumental to the success of this operation and reflects the strong interagency collaboration we rely on to protect our community,” Sutter said.

The investigation began in February of 2025, after learning that William “Flav” Taylor was a major supplier of methamphetamine in Jefferson County. Throughout the investigation, Officers were able to confirm that Taylor was sourcing his methamphetamine and cocaine from Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio.

On February 4, 2026, Taylor was arrested on a warrant on one (1) Count of Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 2 Felony. Officers executed the arrest warrant of Taylor when he was travelling back to Jefferson County, Indiana from Louisville, KY. Taylor was also found to be in possession of Cocaine and received additional charges. Taylor is being held on a $500,000 full cash only bond in Jefferson County. Additional charges against Taylor are expected. A female passenger, Nichole Williams, was also charged with Cocaine related offenses. Indiana State Police continued the investigation after Taylor’s arrest.

Through the investigation, which involved the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office, City of Madison Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section, Kentucky State Police Campbellsburg Post and U.S. Marshal’s Office, authorities learned that Taylor was supplying many others with illegal narcotics and led to the numerous arrests on April 15, 2026:
