Second Arrest Made In Connection With Burglary at Dollar General Store Last Week

On August 7, Jennings was arrested for his involvement in the burglary.

(Madison, Ind.) - On Friday, August 7, Madison Police made a second arrest in connection with the August 4, 2020 burglary of the downtown Dollar General Store.

In the early morning hours of August 4, Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary at the Dollar General Store. An initial investigation revealed that Taylor R. Brinson, a store employee, and another subject entered the business and stole money.

Brinson was arrested on August 5 due to his connection with the burglary.

On August 5, Michael Jennings, 20, of Scipio was arrested following a traffic stop. During the stop, officers conducted a search of the vehicle where they found cash which is believed to have been taken during the burglary.

On August 7, Jennings was arrested for his involvement in the burglary.
