JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to begin bridge repair work on State Road 7 over the Muscatatuck River on or after Monday, October 6, in Jefferson County.

Work will take place on S.R. 7 between North Middlefork Road and West County Road 700 North located south of Dupont and is expected to take up to four days, weather permitting. Flagging operations will be used while work is in progress, reducing S.R. 7 to one lane.

This project is part of a contract awarded to E&B in February 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
