SR 156 Closes Wednesday For Pipe Replacement

Between 8am and 5pm

SWITZERLAND COUNTY—Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance personnel plan to replace a drainage pipe under State Road 156 this Wednesday (AUGUST 29)—weather permitting—closing the Ohio River Scenic Byway between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.   

 

A “soft” closure (locals only) will be imposed at S.R. 156’s intersection with S.R. 250 in Patriot and on S.R. 156 at S.R. 101/ Markland Dam.  A hard closure (no traffic) will be enforced between Turtle Creek Road and Wades Hill Road.
