Carroll Co. goes for first FB District Title in 32 years next Friday

IHSAA GIRLS SOCCER SECTIONAL:

Southwestern falls to Providence 7-1

Switzerland Co. over Milan 2-1. Lady Pacers take on Oldenburg tomorrow 2pm at Rising Sun for the sectional title.

 

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:

Carroll Co. will play for their first District Championship in 32 years next Friday at home against Walton Verona after their 50-3 win over Owen Co. The win also gives the Panthers a first round home game in the post season tournament. Carroll Co. is hoping to Pack the Stadium next Friday with Black and Gold backing the Panthers for a District Title.

 

Tonight: Switzerland Co. hosts North Decatur while our game will feature Bedford North Lawrence at Madison

 

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL:

Shawe falls to South Ripley 3-2

Henryville defeats Southwestern 3-1

Owen Co. over Trimble Co. 2-0

 

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Volleyball falls to St. Mary’s of The Woods 3-2

The Hanover football team will look to tie its longest winning streak under third year head coach Matt Theobald by hosting Earlham Saturday. The game is also a part of the College's 91st annual Homecoming celebration and the team is requesting Hanover fans wear white.
