Saturday, March 6:

Congratulations to the Trimble County Cheer Team. They placed first in their division at the cheerleading competition.

Christian Academy of Madison Boys Basketball placed 3rd at the NACA Tournament in Tennessee. Junior Clay Carter was chosen for the Division 6 all-tournament team averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 5 assists per game for the tournament.

Madison fell to Silver Creek in the sectional championship game with the final record of 17 and 9.

Southwestern boys won their third sectional title with a win over providence with a final score of 75 to 51.

Monday, March 8:

Trimble County defeated Carroll County with the final score of 67 to 58. James Thomas Wilcoxson led the Raiders with 20 points, Tate Ogburn had 16 points, Dylan Jennings had 11 points, and Ryan Long has 10 points. Keishaun Mumphrey led the Panthers with 23 points, Luke Staley and Jaxon Hewitt have 12 points each.

Wednesday, March 10:

Gallatin County JV defeated Trimble County with the final score of 55 to 15.

Trimble County Varsity defeated Gallatin County with a final score of 65 to 45.  Tate Ogburn leads Trimble County with 23 points, and Dylan Jennings had 15 points. Drake Skidmore led Gallatin County with 13 points, and Zac Johnson had 5 points.

Owen County defeated Carroll County with the final score of 63 to 48.

The Carroll County Lady Panthers defeated Valley with the final score of 66 to 25.
